Messages are sent on behalf of local service businesses (typically Austin-area HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roofing shops) that use the Get Call Booked Missed-Call Revenue System. Message “from” identity may show the shop’s brand or a number assigned for that shop’s program.
What the program does
When someone calls a participating shop and the call is missed (or the shop otherwise needs a short follow-up), the system may send a small number of customer-care SMS messages, such as:
- Missed-call follow-up with a way to book or call back
- Booking link or appointment confirmation
- Simple conversational replies related to scheduling
Shop owners / staff may also receive owner-alert texts about missed calls or customer replies so they can respond quickly. Those alerts are operational notifications to the business, not consumer marketing.
This program is not intended for mass promotional offers, coupon blasts, or unrelated advertising.
Who receives messages
- Shop customers / callers who have consented to receive texts related to their inquiry or appointment (see Opt-in below).
- Shop owners / authorized staff who enrolled their business numbers for operational alerts.
Opt-in (consent)
Typical consent paths:
- Verbal (voice call): During or after a call, the shop (or automated prompt) asks something like: “I can text you a booking link — is that OK?” Affirmative consent is required before the first care message.
- Website / form: A clear unchecked checkbox (or equivalent clear affirmative action) stating that by checking, the person agrees to receive SMS related to missed-call follow-up, booking, and appointment updates from the named shop / Get Call Booked. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Shop owner enrollment: Owners provide and confirm mobile numbers for owner-alert texts when they set up the service.
Records of consent (time, channel, language where available) should be retained for compliance.
Opt-out (STOP)
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from that messaging program. You will receive a single confirmation that opt-out was processed. After opt-out, no further program messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
You may also email hello@getcallbooked.com to request removal.
Help (HELP)
Reply HELP for help. You will receive a short reply with support contact information (email and/or web). You may also email hello@getcallbooked.com.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies.
- Callers typically receive a low volume of messages tied to a specific missed call, booking attempt, or confirmation (often 1–5 messages per interaction, not a daily drip campaign).
- Owners may receive alerts when calls are missed or customers reply — volume depends on call volume.
We do not run high-frequency marketing campaigns on this program.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Check your wireless plan. Nexa5 / the shop does not charge a separate fee for receiving these SMS messages, but your carrier may.
Supported carriers / delivery
Supported on major U.S. carriers. Delivery is subject to carrier and handset availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Carrier disclaimer (standard): Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
Privacy
SMS and related call data are handled under our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information. Phone numbers collected for this program are used for customer care / operational messaging described here, compliance, and delivering the service — not for sale to data brokers.
Prohibited content
Users and shops must not use the program for unlawful content, phishing, harassment, SHAFT content, or anything banned under Twilio / CTIA / carrier A2P rules. Nexa5 may suspend traffic that violates these terms or carrier requirements.
Changes
We may update these SMS Terms. The current version will be posted on this page. Material changes to the consumer program should be reflected in opt-in language and campaign registration as required.
